What to do when you love to learn but get bored once you know how to do something

Do you love to learn but get bored once you know how to do something?
Well, I was that person too.
That’s why being a scanner might just be the making of you:
“I can never stick to anything”
“I lose interest in things I thought would interest me forever”
“I keep going off on tangents”
“I get bored as soon as I know how to do something”
“I can’t stand to do anything twice”
“I keep changing my mind about what I want to do and end up doing nothing”
If you’ve ever said these things to yourself, chances are good that you’re a Scanner, a very special kind of thinker. Unlike those people who seem to find and be satisfied with one area of interest, you’re genetically wired to be interested in many things, and that’s exactly what you’ve been trying to do.
And there’s nothing wrong with that!

Welcome to a new way of looking at yourself! You’re not wishy-washy or shallow. And now you’re free to stop being judged (by yourself as much as other people) and live the life you’ve wanted all along….
I’ve never forgotten the article about Scanners I read in a magazine. What I had forgotten however, is that it was 11 years ago. But it’s only now that I’m starting to heed its advice in my life. When the student is ready the teacher will appear, right?
So if you’re a fellow scanner, I want that for you — don’t wait for a decade to do something about it, like I did.
Oh, and in answer to the question “what to do when you love to learn but get bored once you know how to do something?” I think you probably know by now…
